5th INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP Fluorinated compounds in materials, humans and the environment -
4th INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP
We allocate space and emphasis upon the topics of fate and the effects of PFAS such as human exposure, toxicology, ecotoxicology, risk assessment and the needs on regulation. We will provide an outline of analytical techniques with regard to monitor these compounds in their global distribution. Workshop Program
3rd INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ANTHROPOGENIC PERFLUORINATED COMPOUNDS June 15-17, 2011, Amsterdam The Netherlands
The main objective of the workshop is to bring together specialists from around the world in order to present and discuss scientific and regulatory developments related to human exposure to Anthropogenic perfluorinated alkyl substances (PFASs).
Presentations Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds in our diet Valeriu Curtui (European Food Safety Authority, Italy) EFSA Activities on Perfluorinated Alkyl Substances (PFASs) Dorte Herzke (Norwegian Institute for Air Research (NILU), Norway) Perfluorinated alkylated substances in vegetables collected in four European countries; PERFOOD Sebastian Felizeter (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands) Uptake of perfluorinated alkyl substances by hydroponically grown lettuce Christian Eschauzier (KWR & University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands) Impact of treatment processes on the occurrence of perfluoroalkyl acids in the drinking water production chain
